Why Obsessions Matter
As a former mentee in the Girls Write Now program, I was given the opportunity to write a personal short piece on how going to a comic book store was an important part of my formative years. My “obsession” with Batman comics gave me a strong community where I felt both inspired and accepted by the people around me.
